The car is designed so a complete minifig can fit by temporarily removing the tiles on the side of the cockpit. This would be the start of a period of domination for the team until the turbo hybrid era. This allowed Vettel to also claim his maiden driver's title.
The last race in Abu Dhabi with 4 drivers still in with a chance Vettel won the race from pole position while main title rivals Alonso and Webber finished 7th and 8th respectively. This allowed them to claim their first constructor's title since they entered the sport. The team continued to build on their pace from the end of 2009 with the RB6 claiming 9 wins, 20 podiums, 15 pole positions and 6 fastest laps.
